With advanced training from prestigious institutions like National University Singapore (NUS), Kiel University in Germany, and CIMAR in Kochi, Dr. Jagannathan brings over 19 years of expertise in tackling complex fertility challenges, including recurrent implantation failure, recurrent pregnancy loss, and genetics. Her profound understanding of infertility’s unique demands enables her to deliver outstanding patient care.

Dr. Sindhuja Srinivasan is a Senior Embryologist with over 10 years of experience in the

field of embryology and infertility. Being the Lab Manager and Academic Co-ordinator at Sri

Chakra Fertility, she oversees all areas of the Andrology and Embryology lab and is in continual

discussion with the Medical Director for the betterment of the center. She has completed her

Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Chettinad Medical College India after which

her passion in Embryology led her to complete her Masters degree in Clinical Embryology at Sri

Ramachandra University, Chennai, India. Dr Sindhuja being the best out-going student for the

first batch of Clinical Embryology and was retained as faculty of Clinical embryology for the

masters course at Sri Ramachandra University. She has attended observerships and hands-on

training at various places to have a diverse knowledge in the field including IVF clinics in

Dallas, USA, National Institute of Health and Family welfare, India, Gleneagles Hospital,

Singapore to mention a few. She was previously also the Lab Director at Department of Fertility

Medicine, Gleneagles Health City, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Dr. Sindhuja’s research has included areas including both andrology and embryology

with her masters thesis focussing on semen cryopreservation and studying their functional

parameters. She has helped several students carry out research in Andrology and Embryology

including key topics like sperm vitrification, Pre implantation Genetic Testing and so on. Her on-

going research includes the area of ovarian stem cells. She is also a certified Quality Assessor for

IVF labs(QAI). She is an Executive Committee member at TAPISAR(Tamilnadu nd Pondicherry

Chapter of ISAR) and is a member of the Youth Brigade of ISAR (2024-2026). She is also a

recipient of the Youth Icon award and was felicitated by the Indian Society of Assisted

Reproduction.
